26 febrero On The MoveWe are still staying in Changchun, and ill be working for Baidawei for another six months- but weve decided to move to a better apartment. Weve moved most of our things already! Also it will be less costly too so thats a plus! My new schedule for teaching is pretty good- some classes merged and have two new 1A classes and still on full hours which is great. A few new computer games are coming out which ill like to get soon- Killzone 2, Demon souls and Resident Evil 5- all for the PS3. The most anticipated is Resident Evil 5- should be pretty awesome. Aston Villa are doing great things in the league at the moment, just hope we can maintain the position for a Champions league spot. 09 febrero Update Time Oh, i need to start getting better at blogging! To be honest, i spend most of the time on Facebook, the name is David Emmerson Nicholson, if you want to add me thats fine. So September was the last time i updated here and now its February! Well, Laarni and her mom, my son Shaun and some of Laarnis friends went back to the Phillipines in December and will be back on the 17th February. Shaun has been a bit unwell over there and had to be in the hospital a while too, but seems to have gotten better now. He has grown up so much already now. Ive missed them both a lot. Fortunately we have friends who have been looking after me so well, living here with me at the moment as i work at Baidawei in Changchun. We are in the middle of Intensives again and its hard work but hopefully the children are having fun and learning with us! Teaching with Baidawei has certainly been a great experience for me, ive enjoyed teaching my classes and meeting different people and friends too. We are pretty settled here in Changchun, but there is a big decision to be made for us in May when my contract ends about what we, as a family, want to do. Also im sad ,to be honest, that family back home are moving on with their lives and growing up! My little sisters arent so little anymore and have children of their own which are rapidly ageing too! Obviously thats part of life, and is expected. On lighter aspects, my football team, Aston Villa, are flying high in the Premiership and exceeding any expecations people had made of them to do this year- including mine! |
