A few days ago it snowed here in Changchun, and pretty much the temperature has dropped and so the cold creeps into our lives. As a Londoner, who hasnt seen snow for years, its a welcome change but also time for the heaters to come on as well! As those who know me, ive been pretty silent in respect to emails and such, however our internet has only been recently fixed and is soooooooo slow at the moment as well.

Shaun is precisely four months old now! Wow the time flies doesnt it? It looks like his first teeth are starting to come through and he has this peculiar habit of what can only be described as shrieking as loud as he can and in varying levels of pitch and volume! Im still hoping his first words will be Dada or Daddy, however im pretty sure his first word will be a Tagalog word due to the welcome care that our Filipino friends provide, such as Bituin and Ronna, and Laarni of course as well! She is eager to get back to work and is hoping her mother can come to China and look after Shaun so we can both work. His sleeping pattern seems to have changed and we are thinking about maybe giving him a change in what he can eat as well as it is now four months.

England got knocked out of the qualification round for Euro 2008 and to be honest we deserved it. Its time to face facts that we arent as great a football team as we think we are and maybe this is the kick up the proverbial backside that the FA and English football need. Ive already read that blame is being put on foreigners playing in England which is utter rubbish. If English players are good enough, whatever their age, they will get picked for their football team regardless.
